Chen Nuo ( CN )
 b.1998

is an innovative textile artist and storyteller who was born in China and is now based in both London and Shanghai.

CN's deep-seated passion for textiles began during her formative years in fashion, where she honed her creative skills. Through a dialogue with the body, CN has developed a fascination with the nuanced relationship between individuals, space, and emotions, which serve as the three primary themes of her work. Her creations encourage "profound observation" and take the viewer on a transformative journey to discover the hidden sides of people, things, and everyday life.

CN's art is rooted in poetic, narrative, and artisanal traditions, with a focus on affect-driven mediums that establish an empathic connection with the viewer.
